University of Michigan
The story
I graduated from the University of Michigan in August 2025 with a B.A. in Economics. The coursework gave me the toolkit I still use most: statistics and econometrics, and a way of thinking about markets, incentives, and how value moves through a system.
The bigger lesson was how much I learn by doing. I was working on real projects the whole time I was enrolled, and the two fed each other: an idea from a lecture would click because I had just watched it play out, and a problem at work would send me back to the textbook to understand why.
Economics is also what pulled me toward markets, first in an equity research seat and later building my own tools for reading what the options market is pricing. The classroom gave me the vocabulary, and the work gave me the reps.
