Resell Network
An 11,000-member networking community. Founded and acquired.
The story
Resell Network was a gathering place for the reselling industry, and I spent close to four years building it. It was not a paid alpha group like Profit Paradise. It was an open marketplace: hundreds of group owners, thousands of resellers, graphic designers, bot makers, cook groups, and freelancers, all in one Discord.
It grew past 11,000 members, entirely organic, and it ran hot. People paid every month to plug: dedicated channels where groups and freelancers marketed themselves to the whole industry, plus a live floor where members bought, sold, hired, and traded all day long. It functioned more like a marketplace than a single product, and I monetized it through advertising and marketing partnerships rather than a subscription. At its peak it was busy enough to get spammed and even knocked offline by attacks.
The real asset was years of brand recognition and a dense network. I sold it in 2023 as part of the Mocean deal, and it still runs today under its new owner. The lesson has shaped everything since: a marketplace where an industry meets is durable, because the network itself is the product.
The marketplace
Resell Network was not a feed, it was a floor: 11,000 people and most of the services the reselling industry runs on, in one room. Channel by channel, this is how the marketplace was laid out.

What this taught me
- A dense network is the kind of asset that looks quiet from the outside but compounds for years. A network built organically holds together in ways a purchased list doesn't.
- Infrastructure that connects people in an industry is sticky. The relationships formed in that server outlasted the community itself.
- Selling as part of a larger deal showed me how assets can have different values to different buyers.
